'SWING INTO SPRING' CHARITY LUNCH 2019

The first of many annual fundraisers for Charities large and small. We co- produce alongside Philanthropist Lisa Tudor at one of Mayfair's buzziest eateries.

There will be a celeb packed afternoon, fizz, lunch, auction and 2 raffles jam packed with fabulous prizes. Not to mention the hilarious 'Kings & Queen's' game, the star prize chair hunt. Musical entertainment form Deleelah the soulful songstress , Headliner's Jack Pack to Swing us into Spring and other surprise guest tbc. This afternoon is the **HOT TICKET** for March.

Star of ITV’s 2018 smash hit ‘My Shirley Valentine Summer’ and Queen of the red carpet, Lizzie Cundy is in her third year of hosting her weekly radio show ‘Hot Gossip’ on Fubar Radio. The Entertainment show encompasses all her first-hand showbiz knowledge combined with celebrity interviews and banter and has led to her becoming a weekly contributor to Talk Radio. A regular contributor to The Mail Online and to Good Morning Britain’s lively TV debates, Lizzie loves being at the cutting edge of showbiz news and gossip!

A colourful character with plenty to say, Lizzie appears regularly on TV and in magazines and was recently involved in a Channel 5 Documentary about British spending habits. She also enjoys being a regular pundit on the panel of Big Brother's Bit on the Side and regularly debates hot news topics on both Good Morning Britain and This Morning.

The songs are sung as they were written to be sung and Jack Pack draw the audience in with their performance, charm and star quality. After their appearances at the BGT final 2014, Jack Pack went on to achieve international success following their Top 10 self titled debut album in 2015. They are very highly respected and have been creating a storm among their fans on TV shows such as Tonight at the Palladium (ITV) and on BBC Radio 2 and Magic FM. Whether it’s to 40,000 people at Hyde Park, the British Monarchy at St James’ Palace or at a private or corporate event, they have proven their appeal to people from all walks of life and all ages.

Deleelah is a vocal sensation with the voice of an angel and the power to drive her audiences into a frenzy with her dynamic range.

Paul Strank Roofing have over the years grown strong bonds with the local community. We have organised and participated in un-countable charity related events and activities benefiting those in need doing everything from running fundays, and assisting with the local guilds village fairs to attempting world records and jumping out of planes. We work in close partnership with local councils and community groups to do our utmost to raise money and awareness where it’s needed most and we provide a platform with our charity work to unify the local community behind a common cause to allow us as one to express our compassion and generosity by working together to better other people’s lives.

Specifically the three main charities that catch out attention most are the three charities we deal with that work directly with children from all walks of life in some of the most heart wrenching situations one can imagine.

Our work with BBC Children in Need has seen us shaking collection boxes on piazzas and commons, from funday to special events and everywhere in between.

BBC Children In Need Provide desperately needed support in the form of grants to organisations working with children who may have experienced mental, physical or sensory disabilities; behavioural or psychological disorders; are living in poverty or situations of deprivation; or suffering through distress, abuse or neglect.

The size and scale of the BBC Children in Need Appeal means that they are able to give grants to hundreds of different organisations, some of which are very small and don’t have the resources to fundraise for themselves and it precisely for this large scale ability to help such a variety of organisations that Paul so diligently supports this charity.

Another of the charities that Paul Strank Roofing work closely with is a charity that deals with deals directly with life-limited children is ShootingStar CHASE .

We first heard of this charity’s plight approximately 4 years ago, desperately short of funding with Christmas approaching fast they made an appeal for toys that the children had written to Santa for, Paul acted fast and worked hard for months pulling in as many donations as possible, whether it was money or toys we welcomed every donation with open arms, struggling our hardest to get these life limited children their Christmas wish during the holiday season.

Since then we have constantly raised money for this worthy charity with the hope that the money and awareness we raise for them each year makes it so that there is never so desperate a need for such a simple thing again.

SHOOTING STAR CHASE - Registered Charity No: 1042495

Shooting Star Chase is a leading children’s hospice charity caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families.

Whether lives are measured in days, weeks, months or years, we are here to make every moment count. We support families from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care.

Our bespoke support is free of charge to families and available 365 days a year. Our care service includes short breaks at our two hospices (Shooting Star House in Hampton and Christopher’s in Guildford), Hospice at Home, day care, symptom management, end-of-life care, bereavement care and a comprehensive range of therapies and support groups for the whole family.

It costs £10 million a year just to maintain our current level of care. Around 10% of that income comes from government funding, so we rely on our supporters’ generosity to keep the service running. What’s more, we know there are many more families desperate for our vital support, so it’s crucial we raise more funds to provide more care.
