An evening of special guest vocalists performing Jazz, Soul and Classics wit the Vince Dunn Orchestra.

Vince Dunn

Drummer Vince, who has performed for over 30 years with Iconic legends from Cleo Laine, Courtney Pine and award-winning BBC Jazz Artist Liane Carroll, to modern greats such as Pharrell Williams, Madonna and Kylie Minogue, brings his orchestra to our stage. They'll be bringing bouncy swing, foot-tapping funk and Latin to keep you moving, peppered with powerful and poignant pieces penned by jazz legends such as Basie, Ellington, Nestico, Corea and others.

Kenny Thomas

At 15, Kenny’s vinyl collection was boasting such milestone albums as “Songs in the key of life” and “Hotter Than July” by Stevie Wonder (his favourite singer), “Off The Wall” & “Thriller” by Michael Jackson and the legendary “Joy & Pain” by Maze. Like any serious music junkie, Kenny and his mates were constantly buying and exchanging records, then eventually purchasing musical instruments in an attempt to create their own sound. “One friend bought a bass guitar and a Moog synthesizer, I bought an acoustic and an electric guitar, we just jammed all the time trying to emulate the soul and Jazz funk records we loved” reminisces Kenny.

Thomas' breakthrough came in 1991 with his debut hit "Outstanding", a cover of a Gap Band song, which went to number 12 in the UK Singles Chart.

He placed another three singles in the UK chart that year including his biggest hit in the July "Thinking About Your Love", which peaked at number four and stayed on the chart for 13 weeks, and "Best of You", which peaked at number 11 and was in the chart for 7 weeks. Thomas' debut album Voices (1991) made number three in the UK Albums Chart selling over 600,000 copies. At the annual BRIT Awards, in February 1992, Thomas was nominated for an award in two categories, Best British Male Vocalist and Best British Newcomer.
