Stepping Out
Red Carpet Entertainments are proud to present a fabulous Barbershop Quartet... STEPPING OUT.
The “Stepping Out” Quartet, - David Ellwood (Lead), Nigel Green (Baritone), John Higgins (Bass) and Bob Walker (Tenor) was originally formed in 2011, and we specialise in unaccompanied 4 part close harmony singing in the “Barbershop” Style.

All four members of “Stepping Out” have previously sung in other Barbershop quartets, and between us, have over 90 years of singing unaccompanied Barbershop Harmony and, in addition to our Quartet work, they all regularly sing in larger Barbershop Choruses including “Vocal Fusion”,”Sound Company” and “Windsor Acapella”
Our Quartet has a significant repertoire of songs –Spirituals, Easybeat, Up-tempo, Swing and Ballads from 20th Century and song “genres” that can be tailored to suit any specific occasion. The Quartet sing Barbershop Harmony regularly at Corporate Events, After Dinner Entertainment, Weddings, Birthday Parties, Anniversary Celebrations etc throughout Surrey, Sussex and Kent.

In addition to privately booked entertainment work, the Quartet competes at Regional and National Music Festivals, and is often invited to perform at Concerts throughout the Region.
